Frequently asked questions
It depends on your draw length and the bow design. You can see recommended bow lengths based on your draw length in their description.
If you don’t know you draw length there is a basic method to determine it that will be good enough to help you choose the appropriate bow length. Take your height in inches and just divide it by 2.5. If you know your arm span length, that will work even better. Your true draw length might differ a bit but not by much.
It is a personal preference that depends on your fitness but I always recommend start with less. You might feel comfortable shooting first 20 arrows with a heavy bow but after that may start to struggle. You can also injure your joins to overpowered bow is a no joke. You can always purchase a heavier bow as an upgrade and still keep the lighter one to shoot comfortably after a hard days work for example. For beginners I would recommend rages 20# – 30# for women and 25 – 40# for men.
Never ever dry fire the bow. Keep it unstrung while not shooting for longer periods. Do not use a damaged bow string. More tips about the bow care can be found HERE.

In a one word – no. All bows currently are finished with 2 component poly urethane. It is very durable and you don’t need to apply anything on it afterwards. It has excellent weather resistance and good scratch resistance but only moderate impact resistance. It will chip if dropped on a tile floor or banger against a piece of metal, for example, an arrow point which is a common damage that occurs while nocking arrows.
Yes, for now warranty period is 1 year against a manufacturing defect. If there is a faulty build, it usually lets itself known within a year and if not, the bow will serve you for many years with a proper care. Materials are high quality and long lasting so this strategy works really well.

Yes, I do refinish and repair older bows made by me. If you need some vintage bow repaired, it depends on how busy I be and the ease of repairs necessary.
Yes. Some labor costs will be charged as the limbs will need refinishing.
Brace height depends on the model on the bow and it is mentioned in the stats sheet. Generally longbows are braced at 7” – 7,5”, hybrids at 7,5” – 8” and recurves at 8” – 8,5”. You can increase or decrease the brace height by unstringing the bow and twisting or untwisting one end of the bowstring while the other is still hooked on the bow limb.
9 grain per pound (gpp) is the recommended minimum arrow weight. My personal recommendation is to have at least 10 gpp arrow. It makes the bow a bit more stable, quieter and increases the longevity
